HELLO THERE!

My friends call me Vic so you can too! I’m an award-winning illustrator residing near Toronto, Ontario with a vibrant eye for the fun, the colourful, and the silly!

Some things I love: kayaking, photography, sitting by a fire, building things, chocolate, mystery novels, and well put together poke bowls.

Growing up in boring, rural Nova Scotia sparked my passion for drawing and doodling. Inspired by weekly comic store visits with my dad, early morning cartoons, and ridiculous storytelling with action figures. Not much has changed since; I still love drawing superheroes and animals. If I had to describe my illustration style, I’d say it’s bright, colourful, graphic, and utilizes bold shapes!

Some other things!

I'm also a full-time firefighter for a major city here in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). It's a career I take a lot of pride in. With the success I had as a freelance illustrator, it allowed me the freedom to pursue both of my dream jobs!

More things about me? I’m a terrible swimmer, a well done infographic is my kryptonite, love to cook for groups, I can (unfortunately) talk almost forever about anything, red is my favourite colour, and my super power is that I can usually fall asleep within a minute of laying down.
