Compilation of the Greek Gods I illustrated from the 52 2020 project.

Poseidon was the god of the sea and savior to ships at sea. You can always pick him out from the crowd, just look for the green guy with the trident! Poseidon was also the guy that created horses which begs the question; which came first? The seahor

Aphrodite was the goddess of love and beauty. Generally hard to miss but she’s usually the best dressed and fanciest girl at the ball. She even has a snazzy belt that makes people fall in love!

Ares the god of war. As a child he was imprisoned in a bronze jar by giants. He hasn’t been able to quite let that go…Just stay on his good side and he will always be there to back you up!

Dionysus being the god of wine, is usually found at the bar sampling drinks. Bit of a drama queen but all in good fun especially when he has a few drinks around. If you’re lucky enough to have him at your party; you’ll likely never run out of wine!

Apollo the bright eyed god of sunlight and music. You’ll likely find him at the centre of attention at a party. The guy loves to be in the spotlight. Also hates a high-level programming language for some reason.

Artemis goddess of the hunt and the moon. Wild child of the bunch and twins with Apollo. You won’t have a conversation with her without hearing about the animals she saw that day. Typically late to the party but always the last to leave but not befo

Hades, god of the underworld! He may come off as a scary dude but a softy at heart. He doesn’t quite like to party but if he’s there you’ll likely see his 3 headed pup, Cerberus as well.

Demeter the goddess of harvest. The big sister of the group, always making sure everyone’s comfortable. Almost always has baked goods of some sort with her. Some of the other gods were talking though; they think she might be a little bit of a pyroma

Hephaestus god of the forge. Not the most popular guy at the party but definitely the handiest! Usually in his workshop making something awesome. Now you know who to ask if you need something made! Just bring him some drinks or something...

Athena goddess of wisdom and war. The big sister that every goes to for help and advice. Don’t let the pristine armour fool you; she’s quite the fighter if you get on her bad side.

Hermes the god of trade and travel. Almost as quick witted as he is quick! Generally seen running around chatting and catching up with everyone at the party. Be warned though, he can be quite the trickster if he gets bored! We’re also not sure how h

Hera the Queen of the Gods. If you’re at a party, it’s probably her house. Also has a thing for birds; peacocks more specifically. Bit of a temper but let’s not talk about that part.

Zeus the god of the sky, lightning, and thunder. He’s kind of a big deal. If you’re partying with him you know you’ve made it. Has an odd tendency to throw lightning bolts at people though. If you can over look that he’s pretty swell!
