Fan art for Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal. One of my favourite shows that manages to communicate so much with some beautiful art direction and no dialog.
Initial sketch based off a scene in the episode ‘Scent of Prey’
Flat colours, wasn’t feeling the balance between the characters and the environment. Scaled the cave down to add some negative space and filled in the foreground with some lovely greenery.
